Group Exchange in Turkish Rail Hub Eskişehir


All EU SMEs  are invited to participate in a unique in a kind Group  Exchange organised in Eskişehir, Turkey in 10-12 May. Eskişehir has a key importance for the Turkish rail sector,  as it can be considered its hub. 

The event is organised within the EU-funded EXXTRA Project (“EXcellence EXchange and Teaming-up between Railway clusters and ecosystems”) by the partner of the project ARUS  (Anatolian Rail Transportation System Cluster) and foresees 3 full days of activities including attending the Rail Industry Show in Eskişehir, presentations of Turkish Railway market by ARUS, B2B meetings with Turkish companies at booths, visits to URAYSİM Test Center (Anadolu University) and local rail supply companies as TÜRASAŞ and Savronik or Albayrak.

The important condition to participate: to be a resident of another COSME[1] country and be situated at least 200 km far from the exchange location.

The exchange allows all interested SMEs as Visiting Organisation (VO) not only to discover the vibrant Turkish railway market, visit the trade show or find new business partners, but also to receive a reimbursement for the  costs incurred in the mission (travel, hotel, …) equal to 375 Euro. The participation requires an obligatory registration and specific steps to proceed according to the project.
